![]() ![]() This is the first time I've replied in this forum, but now I just had to. I was even about to re-install windows 7 i was so pissed off. I found this out through hours of troubleshooting. so here is how to fix it:ġ:Right click on the sound icon on the toolbarģ:Click on the "Razer Kraken 7.1" then click the "Properties button that will pop up.Ĥ:Click on "levels" then click the "Balance and level out the volumes till they match. I Found a different way to fix the issue without re installing anything.Īpparently the new update screwed up the audio balance settings for my Razer Kraken 7.1 mine were 7 on left and 38 on the right. Did you leave kraken pluged in through all this process ? Hi, i have tried it multiple times, but nothing. ![]() I hope this helps anyone who got the same problem I did Rebooted again, installed synapse, rebooted, and it worked. Once I was back on windows, I went to Control panel>Hardware and sound>Device manager> Sound, video and game controllers, Found razer kraken 7.1 in there and uninstalled it. (keep in mind I'm on windows 7) I uninstalled razer synapse, rebooted. ***EDIT: Found a fix, updating this so other people can find this through Google searches as I was unable to find anything. I've re-installed the drivers a few times and rebooted multiple times. Plugged in the new one and its doing the exact same thing. ![]() I went up to Bestbuy and just purchased a new one (exact same model) thinking I just had defective hardware. I've had my razer kraken 7.1 about 9 months and just today the right ear started being really quiet. I need a human razer worker to talk to me on this.I just started getting this exact same problem today. All they send are automated random messages. I tried contacting them for many many days but to no avail. Razer support is probably and by far one of the worst things to ever possibly exist. Logged out of Synapse (This completely fixes the problem, but results in poor audio quality and mic quality due to missing fancy Synapse settings.) Went into USB Input Device properties and ticked off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power (Didn't fix it) Created a dummy account to test it before logging in with my main account to observe. Added Synapse to my firewall exemptions and updated my. Uninstalled mouse and keyboard drivers 3. Uninstalled Synapse and deleted all files in C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Razer and C:\\ProgramData\\Razer directories. ![]() Repairing synapse again many times (no, this just didnt fix it anymore.)Ĭhanging USB ports (sometimes causes the issue to happen too many times or too little but still happens.) Repairing synapse (This surprisingly worked and didnt give me any issues for a week and then a new windows update and synapse update happened resulting in headset breaking again) Unplugging and replugging (this sometimes fixes it, sometimes it doesnt.) Uninstalling and reinstalling Razer synapse and all files (this solved the issue but very temporary) Once the headset died the 1st time, i thought it was a cable problem and tossed them away for 2 years until a friend of mine told me that its a software or hardware problem that she fixes by uninstalling synapse and all of its files. When it disconnects, it creates a popping sound, cuts all audio off, freezes my PC and then reconnects. I got my headset 2 years ago for my birthday and the headset worked fine for 3 or 4 months, then it started to disconnect and reconnect. I am also having this issue and its by far, one of the most common problems that this headset has. ![]()
